HYPERDRIVE is a high-energy rock band playing the best of 70’s and 80’s classic and arena rock. The band is made up of a unique group experienced veteran performers.
Jason Russo, the band’s lead singer and frontman, was signed with a major label years ago in a band named Herod. He has years of touring and studio experience, and like the other members of HYPERDRIVE, is enjoying combining their individual talents to bring together a musical performance that is even greater than the sum of its parts.
Mike Russo, keyboards, is no stranger to the rock music scene in SWFL and abroad having played many venues with various other bands in past years.
Todd Sabbides has an extensive musical past having shared the stage with some of the top musicians in rock and pop, Artimus Pyle, original Lynyrd Skynyrd, Ray Luzier of Korn, the late great John Blackwell from Prince and the Revolution and Justin Timberlake’s band, and 38 Special. Todd is also a graduate of The Players School of Music having studied with bass master Jeff Berlin.
HYPERDRIVE plays an extensive range of music built on powerful lead vocals, backup harmonies, soaring keyboards and guitar, and the driving force of bass and drums.
